Levi is doing great!! (We changed his name when
he became our baby!) Other
than being spoiled rotten, we can't complain
about him. He loves getting
muddy and then climbing in the car or truck.
He was just Best Dog in our
wedding last month. If we can get him to like
the 2 cats, all will be
perfect!!

Just thought I'd send you
some pictures of Gabi (AKA Sydney). She's been
doing great here, and having alot of fun playing
with her new sisters. We took her to my parents
for Christmas day, and she was a big hit (and
very well behaved.) Enjoy the pics!

Here is Ava,
Gabi's sister with her new family.
Ava is doing very well. She is starting to
learn her name and actually come when we call
her. She gets along great with Cooper our
three-year old lab mix. She is eating and
taking her pills like a big girl. She loves
sleeping in her crate and even more so curling
up with her big brother Cooper on his bed. We
love her so much and are very excited about the
new addition to our family. -

Kaiser is just a peach - he
really is a good boy - he slept straight through
the night last night. My nieces think he is the balls -
everyone at work has already met him - I work 2
blocks from the vets office - he has already
taken over the house - drives Madison crazy -
she drives him crazy - non stop
entertainment.... right now he is laying in the
living room with his nose next to Maddy's toes -
he is trying to get her to play so he is biting
her feet... - oop correction - he has decided to
put his head in her mouth... he does give really
good puppy kisses though - they are drive by
kisses - but I don't think I have seen a puppy's
tail wag so much. Again - thank you so
much - what a gift he is!

Chloe is doing really well. As I think I said before,
she has definitely become a Daddy's Girl. She certainly
does love Ramond! She is such a sweet dog, and we are so
glad we have her.

Hi
everyone! My name is Nikki (Nikita) and I'm living in
Ohio now in my new forever home with my dad Eric.

I am so happy I have found my new forever home. He
gives me lots of toys to play with, but there is one I
really like, best described as a tennis ball in the
shape of a dog-bone. I also like to chew on furry
things, but if he gives me one of those regular plush
toys, I like to see how fast I can make it disappear!
Like the one in this picture:

I also like this red rubber ball that he got me and of
course rawhide chew toys, which seem to "vanish"
completely. He said I am getting along very well
with people, children included; and that I don’t have an
intimidating demeanor the way some dogs do.
I’m really getting comfortable here and deciding what
parts of the house I like for my own.

Thanks dad for giving me a wonderful new life!
Nikki
Look at me!! I am so handsome and such a good boy!!! I am enjoying sniffing all the Christmas decorations that I have been helping Mommy and Daddy put out this year.

Even have my stocking hung with my picture on it, so Santa will know which one is mine!
Rex has been such a wonderful addition to our home. He has become a very important part of the family and continues to show us each and everyday how much he loves us and his sister Xena. He loves to play ball and chew on his squeaky toys!! He likes to play with the cat Osc, they have fun together, knawing on each other. He plays chase with the dogs in the neighborhood and he waits on the school buses in the mornings to run the fence line with them. The children that live down the road have ATV's and they come by and he runs with them. He loves playing with the grandchildren and they love playing with them. Thank you Noble Shepherd Rescue, Lisa and Shaun for bringing him into our lives for we love him so very much. He is such a warm and loving boy, don't know how we did without him. He is our boy!!!!!!

Thought you'd like to see how Alfie boy is doing - he's up to about 75 lbs of big baby.
Merry Christmas
During the summer and weekends we like to take Patty and Alfie up there to
stretch their legs. Patty sprints for about 2 minutes and then calls its
quits. Alfie tries to keep up, then plays fetch with a couple of soft frisbees
and tennis balls. He'll play basically until he make him stop, he has so much
energy!

We just wanted to let you know that Barron is doing well and has been such a great addition to our family. Rick's kids came out to see us and Barron really loved being around the kids. He's continuing to put on weight and has a healthy appetite. We haven't had any problems with him and are very happy at how well he gets along with Hunter and how well he has adjusted to being here. We hope all is well with you and wish you a wonderful new year. Keep us posted on the next adoption fair, we'd love to help out.
Take care,
Rick and Michelle
Merry Christmas from Mr. Simon:
Being a cute little white shepherd is a tough job, especially around the holidays. After all there are only so many hours to play ball, chew on bones, snuggle with
my mom, and eat greenies before the New Year comes. As you can see I have a very full schedule : Since, I wrote all of you last Christmas, I graduated from my Petsmart obedience class. However, I still consider those "commands" as suggestions, unless they backed-up with a treat or a squeaky toy.
This summer I went to the beach and played in the ocean for the first time. In addition to keeping the cats in the apartment complex on their toes (I check under the cars) I like to play with my best buddies Furio and Niles. Mom says my New Years resolution should get me to be nicer to others and listen better but I'd prefer to get ride of that darn white Scottie in building 400 for the New Year.
Till next year…..woof, woof.
Wanted to say HI and let you know how Layla is doing. She's made herself quite a part of our lives. She loves all the attention she gets from everyone in our family
 |
and she gives us plenty of love too. It seems that Micah and Layla are the best of buddies during the day -- they play together like brother and sister -- actually fighting (playfully) over toys at times. She tolerates Micah's 3-year-old behavior so well. Once it's time to wind down for bed in the evening she heads straight for Elijah's room (our 8-year-old) where she'll sleep all night with him. She is so pleasant and fun to have around. She still follows me around quite a bit too wanting to be at my feet no matter what I'm doing. She did have a bit of a time with vomiting and diarrhea about a month ago. Apparently she really likes the acorns that are falling all around our house. She got her system into such turmoil. I took her to the vet and she got herself straightened out after about a week of off and on bouts with the sickness. But she's bounced back so well and I've noticed that she's not eating the acorns like she was. I guess she understands more than we give her credit for. Anyway, I received the newsletter and wanted to update you on Layla. Hope all is well with you and your family. I'm attaching a recent photo of our boys with Layla.
Enjoy!

Here are pictures from our Christmas card photo shoot.

Leroy had his first trip to the beach and he and his big sister Becca and our son jack made quite a scene walking down Ft. Lauderdale beach with their Christmas headgear on. thought you would enjoy to see how he is doing.
sincerely,
the Laheys
We definitely consider Ella a "success story"! With the guidance of her foster mother, Dorothy, we were able to make sure that Ella was a good fit for our home and she has been a wonderful addition to our family. She loves her little boy Mack and is a devoted protector of her home without being the least bit dangerous or unpredictable. We are very grateful to Noble Shepherd Rescue for rescuing our Ella. She was meant for us and we for her. How would we have ever found each other without you?

We thought you might want to see some current pictures of Kaiser, formerly Mr. T. He's doing great and is now up to 86 pounds! He's now graduated from Puppy class and is in an Intermediate training class and doing well. Kaiser and our other dog, Chloe, have become best friends and love chasing each other around the yard and the house. He is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever known. He is very loving and gentle, but still strong and protective.
Thanks for helping us bring Kaiser into our lives!

Sam and Helena were adopted by this loving family on 10/29/05, pictured here are John Russell, Evan, William, Marshall along with their mom Katrina (will be joined by their dad Doug). What two young and
energetic shepherds wouldn't love to have 4 boys to grow up with and several acres to run on. What started out as a sad story has really turned into a happy ending!
